An Oscar winner and well known television actor left an indelible mark on his craft has passed away, according to his publicist and multiple news media outlets.
Martin Landau, most closely associated with scene-stealing character turns in such films as “North by Northwest,” “Crimes and Misdemeanors” and “Ed Wood” as well as the classic TV series “Mission: Impossible,” died Saturday in Los Angeles, according to his publicist. He had been hospitalized at UCLA where he experienced complications. He was 89.
He was married to Barbara Bain from 1957-1993 before the couple divorced. They had two children together, Susan and Juliet.
