One of conservative talks most polarizing figures has been banned from several social media outlets due to what has been deemed in broad terms unsuitable content.
Jones, who is no stranger to controversy, got the news, according to reports that he had been removed from Facebook, Youtube and Spotify for “repeated violations of community standards” on those platforms at a variety of Facebook announcing it at 3 a.m.
According to reports, YouTube terminated Jones’s account over him repeatedly appearing in videos despite being subject to a 90-day ban from the website. Spotify dropped Jones for what they deemed “hate speech.”
Facebook’s removed multiple Jones centered pages including – the Alex Jones Channel Page, the Alex Jones Page, the Infowars Page, and the Infowars Nightly News Page. According to Facebook, the removals came after Jones, personally, was given a 30 day suspension from the social network site “for his role in posting violating content to these pages”.
After speaking with experts on the matter of social media suspensions, it was noted a 30 day suspension usually comes after a number of warnings and shorter suspensions and is often based abusive content.
His lone social media network access is Twitter where Jones has a verified account.
