It’s a one-of-a-kind chance and a once in a lifetime chance for UFO enthusiasts to participate in an upcoming event to celebrate the Flatwoods Green Monster in Flatwoods, West Virginia on the anniversary of the incident that caused an international uproar and an attempted governmental cover-up.

Make plans to visit the Flatwoods Green Monster Museum, in Flatwoods, the weekend of September 8 and 9 for the first annual Flatwoods Green Monster Museum Celebration.

John Clise, museum curator and director, will be interviewing leading UFO researcher and Green Monster authority Frank Feschino, via the Internet, for a museum only event, on September 12th at 7 p.m. for the 66th Anniversary Celebration of the September 12, 1952 UFO visit. His nearly 30 year investigation into the incident helped smash a government cover-up of the alien visit.

You won’t be able to hear the interview anywhere else. A question and answer session will follow a viewing of Feschino’s documentary at 6 p.m. and Clise’s interview at 7 p.m.

Visitors will have a chance to purchase a one-of-a-kind autographed and numbered copy of Feschino’s book The Braxton County Monster (Updated and Revised Edition) Cover-Up of the “Flatwoods Monster” Revealed. Only 12 copies with the signatures of Feschino and Stanton Friedman, the lead investigator and authority on the Roswell Incident will be available for purchase. It will also include authentication and two Feschino signed postcards.

Located at 338 Flatwoods Corner Road in Flatwoods next to the post office, the museum holds the world’s largest collection of Green Monster related research materials and memorabilia with many contributed by  Feschino.

There will be coloring sheets for kids (and adults, too) door prizes, along with books and magazines, and other items for purchase.
